I just remembered that I’m going on another magazine hunt tomorrow and I got super excited.
My Barnes and Noble didn’t even have the AUGUST issue of Vogue Paris when I checked on Monday, so disappointed.
I’m hoping to find the September issue of Vogue at Target early like I did last year. Hopefully I’ll be able to grab W as well.
When I saw this cover, I screamed, “YES!!!!!!” to myself. This is absolutely stunning. The editorial is sure to be a killer. I mean, just look at that vail! I hope the editorial is darker and more gothic like the cover, the September issues could use a bit of edge. I just want to run out into the street and show everyone this cover, it shot to the top of my favorite September covers. Pure perfection. Rating: A+

Ugh, if this issue is on stands why isn’t is in my mailbox yet? JUST GIVE IT TO ME.
I really, really hate this. It’s so dark. September issues are about the new season, a new you. To me, this says, “DARKNESS. SUMMER IS OVER AND THE WORLD IS BLACK WITH DESPAIR. WEEP!” Beyonce’s eyes look a bit sunken in, surely a photoshop mistake, as Bey has truly been killing it even in her candid photos. And I’m honestly just so over the stars. Was it really necessary for InStyle to add EXTRA stars to the cover? I just don’t see any life in this cover, it really only has two things going for it: The page number and Beyonce. Once I get past those, I just feel hollow inside. Rating: D-
